01: The Competition

The Emerging Young Entrepreneur of the Year program is an innovative business plan competition hosted in affiliate universities. It runs in 6-month cohorts and includes training, mentoring, prototyping, technology transfer and financial support.

The aim of the program is to motivate students to express themselves, test their ideas and build the entrepreneur mindset through a competitive platform.

Successful candidates of the competition are fed through one-year incubation programs in purpose-built agribusiness hubs.

02: Mentorship Program

The Mentorship program is designed to connect students to a pool of local and international mentors to facilitate transfer of knowledge and experience as well advice for career development. Our focus is to increase awareness and knowledge of the important role of mentorship in career success.

03: Technology Transfer

The Technology Transfer program helps existing agribusinesses acquire necessary improvements in technology, specialized skills and processes from tried and tested groups of people or regions of the world.

Using our tools of acquisition and training we ensure that new knowledge improves efficiency and leads to better quality of products in the respective value chains in Africa.

04: Agribusiness Incubation Hubs

The Incubation program provides an enabling environment during the early enterprise development stage; to reduce launching costs, increase capacity and  strengthen routes to market. Our innovative, purpose-built incubation hubs have core focus areas in specific value chains that are selected to maximize identified opportunities in host communities.

At the end of the incubation period, market linkages would have been strengthened and products developed based on specifications and regulations of off-takers.
